INSIDE THE INNERSPACE

How would you describe each other in the band?

Dave: Well, we've often been compared to the Trinity of Jesus, God and The Holy Spirit.
We decided that Lucas is the man on the ground, so he's Jesus. Jem is in control of everything, all things technical and beyond. And I'm just a bit more mysterious and up the back... [laughs]

The new recording, called Life On Earth, tell us about the recording...

Dave: Yeah, we produced it ourselves, wrote all the tracks of course. We got involved with our friend at Sing Sing Studios, Matt Voigt who helped us out with the songs which was excellent! It was definately produced by Innerspace and we spent a while working on the tracks to make sure they were perfect too.

Andrew: So you heard it first on Bulls+Arrows - the tracks are perfect!

Dave: Yeah, recorded at Sing Sing and mixed at Abercorn Studios also by Matt Voigt. Shout out to Matt, he's a brilliant guy to work with. And the album was mastered at 301 by Steve Smart up in Sydney and the artwork by Pat Fox.

Lucas: The whole process of recording an album was just so much more work than I had imagined but so rewarding to have the final product in your hand after months of work!
